This policy applies to all users of the YourSpot application, whether they are:
Regular users (customers searching for places or experiences).
Sellers or service providers (Partners).
Visitors to the website or users of related services (API, Mini Apps, etc.).
3. Data We Collect
We collect two types of data:
(a) Data provided voluntarily by the user:
Name, email address, phone number.
Profile picture or business logo.
Your geographical location (if you permit it).
Payment data or bank account information (when conducting financial transactions).
Official documents (such as ID card or commercial registration for partners).
(b) Data collected automatically:
Device type, operating system, and application version.
IP address and approximate location.
Usage data (pages visited, session duration, clicks).
Unique identifiers (Firebase ID, Device ID, Advertising ID).
(c) Data from third parties:
We may obtain data from partners such as payment gateways or social networks when you log in or make payments.
4. Use of Data
We use your data for the following purposes:
1. Operating and improving application services.
2. Personalizing the experience and providing recommendations and places that match your preferences.
3. Managing accounts, bookings, and payment processes.
4. Communicating with you regarding notifications, updates, or offers.

We use financial transaction data solely for processing payments, issuing receipts, and resolving booking disputes.

Electronic payment partners (such as Paymob or Fawry).
Technical service providers (Firebase, Cloud Functions, analytics).

Sellers (Partners) in case you make a booking or interact with them.
Payment data is only shared with licensed payment service providers and is never shared with any other third party.
We confirm that we do not sell your personal data to any third party under any circumstances.
7. Liability Limits in Case of Breach or Malfunctions
Despite YourX Zayan Software taking all necessary technical and administrative measures to protect user data and secure YourSpot application systems,
the user acknowledges and understands that any electronic system is theoretically vulnerable to breach, malfunction, or unauthorized access due to factors beyond complete human or technical control.
Accordingly:
1. The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage arising from a security breach, data leak, or temporary or permanent service interruption.
2. In case of a security incident, the Company will immediately take the following measures:
Assess the impact level and attempt to contain the breach.
Notify affected users (via email or in-app notification).
Cooperate with relevant legal authorities if required.
3. The user acknowledges that they use the application at their own risk, and the Company does not guarantee uninterrupted service continuity or freedom from technical errors or breach attempts.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active or as required by laws or technical necessities.
Transaction data is retained in accordance with legal and financial requirements only (such as tax obligations and accounting audits).
You can request deletion of your account or data at any time through settings or by contacting us.
9. Your Rights as a User
You have the following rights:
1. Access your personal data stored with us.
2. Correct or update your data.
3. Request permanent deletion of your data (unless required by law).
4. Unsubscribe from marketing notifications.

The YourSpot application is intended for users (13 years or older).
If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under 13 years of age without parental consent, we will delete it immediately.

12. Cross-Border Data Transfer

15. Consent
By using the YourSpot application or registering an account with us, you explicitly agree to this privacy policy and acknowledge that you have read and understood it in full.
16. Payments and Financial Data
When users make payments or reservations through the YourSpot app, financial transactions are processed securely through third-party payment providers such as Paymob, or similar licensed entities.
YourSpot does not directly store or access users' credit card details or bank account numbers.
We only store limited payment-related data necessary for processing, such as transaction IDs, timestamps, and payment status.
All communications between YourSpot and payment partners are encrypted and comply with PCI-DSS standards.
Partners receive booking and payment confirmations through their dashboard but never gain access to sensitive payment data of users.
17. Refund Policy
YourSpot maintains a clear refund policy to protect user funds and maintain financial transparency:
MANDATORY DEFAULT REFUND METHOD:
All refunds, regardless of the original payment method used, will be credited to the user's YourSpot Wallet by default.
This applies whether the original payment was made via:
- External credit or debit card
- External mobile wallet (e.g., Vodafone Cash, Orange Cash, Etisalat Cash)
- YourSpot Wallet balance
- Any other payment method
EXCEPTIONS TO WALLET REFUNDS:
In exceptional circumstances only, and at the sole discretion of YourSpot management, refunds may be processed externally. Such exceptions include but are not limited to:
- Account closure or permanent deactivation
- Legal or regulatory requirements
- Technical impossibilities preventing wallet credit
- Documented cases of severe service failure
EXTERNAL REFUND RESTRICTIONS:
When an external refund is approved:
1. The refund MUST be returned to the exact same payment method used for the original transaction.
2. Refunds to external cards will ONLY be processed to the same card number used for payment.
3. Refunds to external wallets will ONLY be processed to the same wallet account used for payment.
4. Under NO circumstances will a refund be transferred to a different payment method, third party, or alternative account.
5. Users CANNOT request refunds to be sent to a payment method different from the one used for the original transaction.
REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE:
- Wallet refunds: Processed within 1-3 business days
- External refunds (when approved): Processed within 7-14 business days, subject to payment provider processing times
NO TRANSFER OR THIRD-PARTY REFUNDS:
YourSpot does not process:
- Refunds to third-party accounts
- Refunds to different payment methods than originally used
- Refunds split across multiple methods
- Cash refunds or wire transfers
FINANCIAL SECURITY:
This refund policy is implemented to:
- Prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions
- Comply with payment card industry (PCI) security standards
- Protect users from financial crimes and identity theft
- Ensure transparent financial reconciliation
BY USING YOURSPOT SERVICES AND MAKING ANY PAYMENT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THIS REFUND POLICY.

18. Pre-Order Preparation Time Transparency
When you place a pre-order and choose to bypass the standard lead time by accepting a specific preparation time ('Accept Wait Time'), we record this consent to facilitate the fulfillment of your order and to provide transparency to the partner. This information is used solely for order management and service quality assurance.
19. Account Integrity & Behavioral Scoring
To ensure platform reliability and protect partners from reservation abuse, YourSpot calculates an internal "Abuse Score" based on your booking fulfillment rates (e.g., no-show history). This score is used solely for platform integrity purposes and may lead to account restrictions if consistent abuse is detected. Users can improve their score through consistent positive platform interaction.
20. Wallet Prepaid Status and Cashout Prohibition
The YourSpot wallet operates strictly on a prepaid points model.
Loaded funds, refunds, and promotional or cashback balances credited to the YourSpot wallet are intended solely for transactions on the YourSpot platform.
Withdrawal, cashout, or transfer of any wallet balances (including top-ups and Cashback) back to a bank card, mobile wallet, or cash is strictly prohibited under any circumstances.
